Margaret Byfield is the executive director of American Stewards of Liberty, a national private property rights organization founded in 1992. American Stewards confronts the policies eroding property rights, such as the Biden Administration’s 30 x 30 initiative. The organization also works directly with local communities to help protect the continued use of our natural resources – the production of our food, fiber, energy and minerals.
Margaret is a natural resource policy expert. She was raised on a large cow calf operation in Central Nevada, which became subject of the landmark takings case, Hage v. United States. She has over 30 years of experience helping landowners, companies and local and state governments protect the productive use of the lands that fuel the local economies. She speaks nationwide on property rights issues and writes the Liberty Matters news service along with her husband, Dan Byfield, CEO of American Stewards.
WHAT IS 30X30?
Learn what is behind the agenda to permanently protect 30 percent of America’s land and oceans, and how this is being implementing in our nation today.
The 30×30 initiative is an international agenda to permanently protect, in its natural state, 30 percent of the world’s lands and oceans by 2030. The program was launched in America by President Biden through Executive Order 14008 on January 27th, 2021.
The Biden Administration claims the program is necessary to help stop the “climate crisis,” and yet they fail to provide substantive details on how the program will be implemented. For instance, they claim the program is to “conserve,” not “protect” lands, and yet they refuse to define the distinction between the two terms. They have also failed to reveal what level of restrictions will be required and whose lands are being targeted.
This leaves Americans in rural and urban areas wondering how the program may impact their businesses, livelihoods and property rights.
Margaret Byfield answers these questions in the presentation, “What is 30×30?” Relying on official documents from the Biden Administration and environmental organizations, she reveals what is driving this agenda and how the architects of the program currently hold high level positions in the Administration, actively carrying out the program today.
Byfield answers key questions such as:
By the end of the program, attendees will understand why 30×30 concerns so many Americans and why we need to work together to stop the agenda.
