Lois Perry

Director, Heartland UK

Lois Perry has been the Director of Heartland UK/Europe since 2004. She is a former leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP) and the founder of Car26, an organization opposed to Great Britain’s headlong direction of Net Zero by 2030. Perry joined The Heartland Institute as the Director of Heartland UK/Europe in 2024.

After founding and running the anti‑Net Zero pressure group CAR26.org from 2021 to 2024, Perry went on to lead UKIP, cementing her profile on the UK’s climate‑sceptic right. She is founder and CEO of Periscope Consulting, and additionally co‑founded the Reform Jewish Alliance and Reform Friends of Israel, where she serves as Strategic Director. She remains strategically aligned with The Reform Party.

Perry is a long‑standing media presence, regularly appearing on GB News, TalkTV, Channel 5’s Jeremy Vine Show, BBC Radio 2, BBC World Service, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio Essex and LBC, and has also fronted her own programme, “The Lois Perry Show”. She is known for being informed, personable and funny, with a distinctive focus on Net Zero and wider culture‑war and political debates.
