Holger J. Thuss completed his studies of modern history, political science and law at the University of Jena, Germany, with a PhD in 2005. Between 1995 and 2005 he also worked for various political and trade organisations in Bonn and Brussels. In 2006, he co-founded TVR Medienverlag, a German publishing house focusing on works of non-fiction, particularly on climate, history, energy, and objectivist philosophy. In 2007, he co-founded the Europäisches Institut für Klima und Energie (EIKE, European Climate and Energy Institute) and is co-ordinating its activities since then as President. EIKE has developed into Germany’s leading think tank promoting free market solutions for the energy industry and combating the false climate narratives propagated by the IPCC. He is the author of numerous monographies and essays on the history of political parties, political ideas and ecology. In 2023, he translated Thomas Gold’s “Deep Hot Biosphere” into German.
