The Heartland Institute
S.T. Karnick is a senior fellow and director of publications for The Heartland Institute, where he serves as executive editor of the organization’s public policy newspapers and the Heartland Daily News website. Previously, he served as director of publications for the Hudson Institute, where he was co-founder and editor-in-chief of American Outlook. Karnick has written several hundred articles for the country’s largest and most-influential publications, websites, and academic journals. A pioneer of modern right-of-center criticism of popular culture, Karnick served for twelve years as editor of The American Culture, which provided news and analysis about cultural, social, and political trends.
